The Alpina Solution cross country skis are the perfect recreational touring choice for getting started and enjoying the fun and rewarding experience of nordic skiing on mostly groomed trails at ski touring centers. A very user-friendly design that features a compact length for superb control & maneuverability. The Alpina solution skis have a nice stable platform underfoot for great balance & stability demanded by beginners just learning to shuffle, while simultaneously ensuring the skis will perform well as the user progresses to a true kick and glide stride classic skiing technique.
The waxless pattern on the ski bases of the Alpina Solution skis feature the Alpina Skis proprietary Posi-Grip technology that rises above the running surface of the ski for superior uphill grip in all snow types, while still delivering great glide when cruising along kicking & striding. Additionally, with the compact length and wider width, the Alpina Solution nordic skis are sufficient performers for breaking trail if you decide to adventure off track and explore. Virtually maintenance free, we recommend simply applying a quick coat of liquid glide wax before each outing, such as Swix Easy Glide (see accessories below), to improve ski glide and prevent snow from sticking to ski bases.

The Alpina Solution recreational touring cross country skis are compatible with any recreational touring SNS or NNN ski binding systems.
Recommended Use:
The Alpina Solution skis are universal nordic touring xc skis ideally suited for beginners learning to kick & glide as well as improving and seasoned skiers who appreciate good classic technique and great glide on cross country skis with solid platform stability, balance and control. A star performer on groomed trails at nordic ski touring centers, snowmobile trails and open meadows, parks and woods covered with a nice blanket of fresh snow.
