The unisex 2009 Black Diamond HeavyWeight Gloves are a liner glove designed to prevent overheating when gaining vertical while backcountry skiing / nordic skiing, snowshoeing, running etc. Provides excellent warmth when paired with a shell glove or mitt when descending vertical or setting out for adventures in a mixed bag of winter elements. The Polartec 300 Power Stretch fleece fabric feels so good on your hands, you won’t want to take the Black Diamond HeavyWeight off when you get to the car, which is fine, because thanks to the Kevlar-stitched leather palm, they also serve as a great driving glove. Great for around town and walking the dog too.
Recommended Use:
When worn on their own, these are great for mountain ascending on your skis or snowshoes, running, driving and around town. When paired with a shell glove or mitts, you can do your thing all day long, whether it is nordic and backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, or ice sculpting in all but the most brutal stuff winter can dish out.
