These skate skis are compatible with the highly recommended Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately) and Rottefella NIS Exercise skate bindings (sold separately) which simply snap onto the factory bonded Nordic Integrated System (NIS) plate that comes included on these skis. See below for details.
The Madshus Intrasonic NIS skating skis are loaded with high-quality performance features and an excellent choice for skate skiing fitness training and weekend racing. Very user-friendly and a great choice for anyone learning the nordic skating technique. The Madshus Intrasonic NIS skate skis have a stable platform for great balance and stability and a lightweight proprietary Air-W core that combines efficiency and durability. NIS Plate included (see below for details).
The waxable Madshus Intrasonic NIS nordic skate skis have a comfortable flex and camber for general cross training and recreational racing in all snow conditions and terrain. The high performance P-Tex 2000 Electra base is universally designed for fast skating in all conditions & temperatures also.

These Madshus Intrasonic cross country skis feature the Nordic Integrated System (NIS) which factory bonds the NIS Plate to the skis, allowing you to then snap on the Rottefella X-celerator NIS skate bindings (sold separately) or Rottefella NIS Exercise skate bindings (sold separately). The NIS ski & binding system results in maximum stability and ski control during all phases of the skate stride. Ski bindings are then compatible with any NNN style skate ski boots.
