The unisex / one size fits all 2009 Outdoor Designs Alpine Gaiters are excellent all-around gaiters for cross country skiing, backcountry touring, snowshoeing, as well as using over hiking boots during the spring, summer & fall hiking months. The Outdoor Designs Alpine gaiters combine great value with a bevy of features. Very comfortable, fully waterproof and delivers breathable full length calf protection. Constructed of WaterGate technologies 3 layer fabric. Includes front opening YKK zipper and full length Velcro storm flap. Easy adjusting and secure under boot rubber strap. Unisex, one size fits all design.
Gaiters are very useful for skiing, preventing any snow, water and ice from entering boots. Feet and lower legs stay warm all day. Gaiters also offer great protection from briars, branches, rocks and ice. Also protects ski boots, pants and skin from possible contact with metal edges on backcountry touring and telemark skis.
