The Swix HF High FluoroCarbon glide wax for Nordic Ski Racing, Alpine Skis and Snowboards offers 5 main waxes in this category, which are fluorinated hydrocarbon blends having a high percentage of a low melt point fluorocarbon additive - a result of Cera F technology. The Swix HF waxes are unique because they provide fast acceleration, have proved extremely effective in a wide range of temperatures and are durable and dirt resistant. Swix HF wax is excellent when used alone, but ideal when used in combination with Swix Cera F as an over layer. Conditions of high humidity are optimal for Swix Cera Nova HF waxes. Available colors: HF004-HF4 Green, HF006-HF6 Blue, HF007-HF7 Violet, HF008-HF8 Red, HF010-HF10 Yellow and HF012-HF12 Combi. Available in 40g and 180g sizes.

The Swix HF 7 Violet is one of the most widely used waxes in the Swix Cera Nova wax system. It is durable yet easy to iron and scrape. It makes an excellent base layer before applying Cera F FC7. Its wide range falls within common wintertime temperature. And from HF7 it is easy and effective to make warmer or colder adjustments with overlayers.
